กิจกรรมวันสิ่งแวดล้อม - I love to Read - Let's talk
On June 5th, Lertlah School enthusiastically kicked off our annual "I Love to Read Project” and “Let's Talk! Activity" in celebration of World Environment Day. This year's theme, "Green Read, Green Talk!", saw students and staff dressed in vibrant green attire, reflecting our commitment to both literacy and environmental consciousness.
The activities began in the morning with an inspiring speech by the director, Ajarn Acha Sianglai, on the importance of reading.
Additionally, the director planted a tree in line with the environmental conservation theme of this significant day. Following this, everyone enjoyed a performance by students who won first place in the International Science Drama Competition. Details of the various sub-activities within the "I Love to Read" Project for the Academic Year 2024 were also shared by the Lertlah junior librarian.
To further promote environmental awareness, each student received a sapling to take home, encouraging them to plant and nurture it with their families. This hands-on activity aimed to instill a sense of responsibility and connection to nature among our students.
During lunch break, students enjoyed various game stations set up by our dedicated teachers and eagerly shopped for new books at the book sale, which offered a wide variety of books for students to explore and purchase from June 5-7, 2024.
We are proud of our students' enthusiastic participation and look forward to seeing the positive impact of these activities both in their reading habits and their commitment to the environment.
