Lertlah School recently held a series of activities to celebrate the Buddhist Lent of 2024, providing students with the opportunity to learn about Buddhist practices and Thai traditions. The event integrated knowledge about the concepts and origins of Buddhist Lent.
On Tuesday, July 16th, the school hosted a candle-casting activity, followed by a candle-offering ceremony on Friday, July 19th. During the ceremony, Ms. Kulltarin Tilakul, Assistant Director, presided over the
offering of candles to Phra Maha Uthai Purimethi, the abbot of Wat Rakang Kositaram, on behalf of the students, parents, and teachers of Lertlah School.
This event allowed our school community to deepen their understanding of Thai culture and Buddhist traditions, fostering a sense of pride and respect for these important aspects of Thai heritage.
